Loving That Winter, The Wind Blows

Again, I slept at 3 a.m. and it's not because of work. These past few days I've been staying up late because of the koreanovela That Winter, The Wind Blows. As you guys know, I love watching Korean TV dramas and movies and I'm constantly checking Viki and WatchWhatAsianDrama for new releases. My friend actually recommended this one and she said that it's a lovely drama. Plus, the actors are familiar, Zo In-sung from Memories of Bali and Song Hye-kyo from Full House. I'm in episode 10 already and I can't wait to finish it. I love the story, cinematography and the actors' palpable chemistry. Especially that one. It's what you call in Tagalog as "nakakakilig". The plot is quite dark and tragic though. If you don't like heavy dramas this one's not for you. I actually cried in a couple of scenes :)

That Winter, the Wind Blows is actually a remake of the Korean movie Love Me Not. It's a story of a gambler and con artist (played by Zo) who pretends to be the long-lost brother of a blind heiress (played by Song) so as to get money from her because of a debt he owes to a gambling lord. What he thought at first as an easy task turns out to be very difficult because of his deepening feelings for her. These two damaged people will come to find the true meaning of love after meeting each other.

Fashionista Shopping at eFoxCity

I love online shopping so whenever I'm not busy I always surf the net for popular online stores. One of the websites I frequent is eFoxCity.com. It's a leading supplier of wholesale clothes for a lot of wholesalers and boutiques worldwide and is based in China. Among the items they sell are dresses, special occasion dresses, shirts, blouses, jackets, wedding dresses, jewelry, and accessories. Not only do they cater to women, they also sell wholesale men's clothes.

eFoxCity has many payment options such as Paypal, wire transfer, and Western Union. They ship to most countries around the world via Registered Air Mail (Standard Shipping), DHL, EMS, UPS, FedEx and TNT. Aside from the wonderful merchandise they offer, they also have a Fashion Blogger Program wherein bloggers may get free clothing worth $20 to $200 every month if their blogs qualify in exchange for reviewing the products they get. Then they have an Affiliate Program where you can earn a 12% commission on all referred sales. eFoxCity is a one-stop store where you can shop and earn at the same time.

Chic Nails from L'Oreal Color Riche Les Nail Art

I was finally able to put on the L'Oreal Color Riche Les Nail Art I got from my March BDJ Box. I didn't have time that's why I was only able to try it now. It turns out that it was so easy to do that it only took me like 15 minutes. I love manicures and pampering my nails and hands but lately I've been swamped with work and couldn't even go to a nail salon, but I figured that this is the next best thing.

The L'Oreal Color Riche Les Nail Art comes in different designs and costs Php 395. It's actually a sticker that you simply place on your nail. Be sure to stick the rounded side at the bottom of your nail. Stick it into your nail and fold it, then remove the extra part with a nail file. It's that easy. This is great for women on the go.

A Cool Summer Giveaway from Firmoo (CLOSED)

Firmoo is the world's most popular online eyeglasses store as evidenced by its more than 580K Facebook fans. Its mission is to offer a wide selection of cheap yet stylish prescription and Plano eyewear for everyone. Firmoo's price is 85% - 90% lower than those of physical stores because all products come directly from affiliate factories.

Firmoo's Wrap around sunglasses are better than other shades because of their wraparound design. They provide better eye protection, they can shield wind or other fine articles from reaching your eyes, and will protect the skin around your eyes because of their distinct shapes. Successful 4th Bubblews Redemption

I had a pleasant surprise the other night when I received an email stating that my echeck from Bubblews is on its way to my Paypal account. I was hopeful that I was going to get paid but there's also some doubt in my mind that I won't because of some issues regarding Bubblews' payment system. They have been quite inconsistent when it comes to paying their members. I wasn't paid for my April 12th third redemption but was paid for my fourth. The administration however issued some statements honestly admitting that they are indeed having some issues with the payment system and that they are working very hard to have those issues resolved the soonest possible time. They also asked members to be patient and to hang on in there and just continue supporting Bubblews. I do believe that the management is doing their best to pay all members. I understand that it's not easy paying hundreds if not thousands of members on time. So I've made up my mind. I'll stick with Bubblews through thick and thin.

The Advantages of Being a Homebased Online Worker

Right after college I already started working in the corporate world. My first job was in a small company and I worked there for three years before transferring to a multinational company. My motivation was of course a bigger pay and career advancement. I worked there for six years then transferred to a call center job which I didn't like at all because of the unusual working hours. Then I transferred yet again. I was able to save some money while working at those companies. But I soon got tired of working for someone so I decided to quit my job and start an online store. Although it helped in paying some of my bills, I realized that it wasn't enough so I started blogging and freelance writing. Working at home is way more satisfying in many aspects. I'm able to save more because I don't spend money on lunch food, fare, and work clothes. I can do the tasks assigned to me in my own pace and it's a lot less stressful. Furthermore, I can do other things while working such as watch TV, eat, and text (really!). Since I'm quite adept at multitasking now, I'm able to do more things. I have more time in my hands. I also realized that the pay is better because I get paid in dollars. Plus, all you need is a computer and a reliable internet connection.

CollageIt Pro Mother's Day Giveaway

I love taking pictures of my nephew. I haven't really thought of collating his pictures and making a collage until I learned about CollageIt Pro. I love the simple collage I made and had fun trying out the different styles. I will definitely do more and try each and every style.

The whole process was so easy. I simply added about four pictures of my nephew to the collage. I used the random layout to automatically generate the layout and customize it. I then exported the layout. It's really as easy as 1-2-3!

CollageIt Pro is an automatic and easy to use collage maker on Mac OS X and Windows. It excels with its ease of use and hugely reduces manual work. Another thing I liked about this software is that it has a number of layouts and templates and you can personalize every single collage. It's up to you what you want to do such as crop the photos, adjust photo number, photo space, page margin, put photo border and many others. You can then save it as JPEG, PNG, PDF, PSD or other images formats or make it your computer's wallpaper. You can also share the finished product through email to your family and friends, share it on Flickr and Facebook or print it right away.

Anyone can download and try the free version of the software at http://www.collageitfree.com/. But the CollageIt Pro is better and costs $19.90. The extra benefits you will get are:

Remove limitations.
Crop photo.
Large-size collage export.
Free lifetime support.
30-day Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee.

To celebrate Mother's Day, CollageIt is giving away 20 free license codes (12 Windows and 8 Mac) of CollageIt Pro Software (priced at $19.90). Lifetime support will be provided to the 20 winners.

This giveaway is open worldwide and will run until June 2, 2013.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
