I hate cleaning. But I have to. Sometimes I would psyche myself hard just to clean my room. It's at the bottom of my "to do" list since I'm swamped with a gazillion things that I have to do everyday. I know I should exert more effort in being neat and clean not just in terms of personal hygience but also in my surroundings. This is of utmost importance so as to prevent diseases and to make overall living more fun and pleasant. My being a "slob" at times is something that I really want to change. You see, that's one of my New Year's resolutions. Improve my overall well-being.
So to jump start my resolution, I make sure that I clean my room at least once a week with my old "walis tambo". I know I should probably be loyal to my broom because I've been using it since God knows when but it just doesn't get all the dirt on the floor. I would even repeat sweeping just so all the dust and dirt will be removed and that adds up to my precious time. I also find it annoying when pieces of the broom fall off, and with continuous use, none or very little is left of the broom. It's a good thing that we have our hard working housekeeper Ate Mercy who takes care of cleaning the rest of the house. But of course there are times when she's loaded with work so I have to do the sweeping myself. It would definitely make things easier for us if we have a vacuum cleaner we can just turn on any time we need tidying up. So I would give an arm and a leg for a new Dynamica Vacuum Cleaner from Electrolux (nope, I'm just kidding since I love all my body parts! Hehe!). But still it would be a blessing if I get to take home one. So I want everyone to know that:
"I need change. I want to start the doom of the broom. I need help!".
Nice post... I really hate cleaning.. Kaya si Hubby ang pinaglilinis ko hahaha...

ReplyDeletenice blog!! me too want one but don't have enough money to buy one ^_^
ReplyDeleteGL!
It's high time to ditch that broom and get a vacuum cleaner :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that we should all ditch the broom!
ReplyDeleteWhen brooms get 'older', they can't help you much with the cleaning anymore. Vacuums are really more reliable. Good luck to both of us sis! :)
ReplyDeleteMy entry: WALLY
nice post, i also don't clean:)mom is doing that for us and broom makes her back ache, so using a vacuum is really a good choice :)
ReplyDeletegoodluck sis :)

ReplyDeleteSometimes broom leaves more dirt, thats why i don't use broom on my room, i only use slightly wet towel to get dirt and dust. It's a waste of time i know hehe.. I guess i also need that Dynamica Vacuum Cleaner from Electrolux. Good luck sis!

ReplyDeleteKung pwedeng magmulti-tasking dito, like sis Alma said, mas maraming magagawa! Go na dito!
ReplyDeleteKung meron nito sa bahay, siguro may kaagaw na ako para maglinis ng bahay... I hope this is also energy-efficient.
