My best friend and I had our monthly pigging out trips yesterday and went to the Newport Mall at the Resorts World Manila. We ate lunch at The Red Crab and had our dessert at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. I seldom drink coffee but when I do, I always make it a point to go to CBTL. Other people are crazy about Starbucks but I prefer CBTL. The branch at the Newport Mall is rather small but it has that cozy ambiance which I really like. I'm even thinking of going there regularly and bring my laptop so I can work there instead of here at home. Plus, it's not very crowded so we were able to choose where we want to sit. As usual I ordered my favorite Original Mocha ice blended coffee with whipped cream and Guiltless Chocolate Delight Cake while Jenny had Double Chocolate Latte and Cappuccino Sansrival.

ReplyDeleteI am not really a fan of coffee bean. i tried it when i was in Brunei. Though, I still religiously drink Starbucks but they have no starbucks there. so we had to resort to coffee bean. well, it's not that bad. i liked it too. <3

I like CBTL too more than any other coffee shop. My favorite drunks white chocolate dream and english breakfast :)

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick a fave coffee shop because there are a lot to choose from here in Baguio City, and they are all awesome! :P But Picarre is definitely one of my faves and you should definitely try it out if ever you find yourself here in Baguio City.. :D
I haven't tried CBTL yet, how much ang coffee nla dun sis? Lagi lang kasi kami sa star bucks, we're afraid to try other stores kasi bka d nmin mgustuhan ung lasa.

We have this coffee shop chain here in Davao that is called Chiccos Di Cafe. What I love most in this place is the interior cos they have paintings and simple sofa's in the shop which is comfortable to sit on. Aside from that I am crazy with their bananaberry frappe, lovely! Nice post you got anyway. Tnx for sharing!
