Bye Whitney

When I saw the news about Whitney Houston's death this morning on Yahoo News I was really shocked, that I began texting my friends. It just seems so surreal to me because she was just 48 years old and she could have shared more of her voice and talent for many more years. I must say that she has been one of my favorite singers of all time. I was in college when The Bodyguard came out. I even saw the movie twice. That's how much of a fan I was. How her life turned out is really sad and shows that drugs can destroy a person. I just wish that she was able to turn her life around for all of us to enjoy more of her music. Regardless, I will definitely remember her. I know for a fact that her music will live on forever.
