Got some cash back from my Christmas shopping courtesy of Shopback. It's small alright but it's still money.

I bought the 2017 Belle De Jour Power Planner not just because I needed an organizer and I wanted the discount coupons but also because of the numerous articles that come with it. There're lots of advice and tips about financial matters and life in general. I want to share one of the articles because I know it will be useful to many specially those who want to earn some extra money. It's actually about earning during Christmas but it's something that applies all year round, even if it's not the holiday season.
Quick Tips to Earning Easy Money:
The holidays are fast approaching and shopping deals are waiting to be explored. If you're a little strapped for cash for Christmas gifts for the cherished people in your life, why not try your hand in some quick and easy ways to earn more?
1.) Share your skills. Spread the word about your mad Photoshop skills and offer to design holiday greeting cards, letters, and party invitations for family and friends. But if writing is more your speed, then compile all your past works and send them to freelance writing sites, online and print publications, and popular bloggers who need content contributors.
2.) Cook up a storm. Baking and cooking during the holiday season are surefire ways to book paying clients who want to give out edible Christmas gifts. Be sure to check out Youtube hits and Pinterest for sweet and yummy inspiration.
3.) Party on. Event assistant and party host are also other possible souces of extra income you could explore. There's always an event organizer who needs on-the-day event assistants who don't mind waking up extra early for ingress and going to bed late after egress. You could even encourage your friends to join you! The event organizer might even ask you to co-host if you offer to do so.

Life certainly works in mysterious ways! Sources close to Jay Z and Beyonce say that the power couple had given up trying to conceive before Beyonce found out that she was pregnant with twins. A source close to Bey reveals in US Weeky that the couple had been trying for months to conceive, and that Beyonce was growing frustrated over failed IVF attempts. The singer has been very open about her trouble getting pregnant in the past, and even shared with fans that she suffered a miscarriage before Blue Ivy was born. The source says that the couple were even looking into surrogates and adoption to help them grow their family.
Just when they thought it wasn't going to happen, the source says that the pregnancy, out of the blue, “just stuck”. What a blessing for these two to be able to finally conceive when they were so close to giving up hope. The source also goes on to say that Blue Ivy is thrilled to be a big sister, and that she had been asking for a baby sibling for quite some time. Now she's going to have two! Everyone is so excited for Beyonce and Jay Z, with her Instagram announcement picture skyrocketing it's way to the most liked photo EVER on Instagram! How exciting for these two, and we are so happy that they are finally getting another chance to grow their family!

I've been using a phone that's like five years old so when I saw that there were so many mobile phones on sale at Lazada's annual Lazada Online Revolution, I knew that I just had to take advantage and buy myself a new unit. I decided on another Samsung phone since I already know how to use them without even reading the manual and I like how their units look. Simple yet elegant.
I bought the Samsung Galaxy On7 (Gold) with free Level In ANC Headphones for only Php 8,990. Here are the specifications:
1 x Samsung Galaxy On7 G600F Gold, 1 x Earphones, 1 x User Manual, 1 x Charger

I hate blackheads because they look unsightly. I don't have any acne but I do have blackheads. I'm not the type who goes to a salon every week or month for that matter. Only when I feel like it which definitely should not be the way to go. What can I say?! I'm quite lazy when it comes to beauty matters. :) If you guys want blackheads-free skin, have a facial every 3 months. But if you're on a budget or don't have much time, there are home remedies you can try to remove blackheads.
1.) Use one tsp. of lemon juice and one tsp. of ground cinnamon as a scrub. Use this daily and see the results after a month.
2.) Apply a mixture of lemon juice and two tablespoons of honey.
3.) Apply warm honey for about 15 minutes. You can also combine it with sugar to be used as a scrub.
4.) Apply fresh mashed tomato on the affected areas daily.
5.) Use oil-free moisturizers.
6.) Mix some lemon juice, yoghurt, oatmeal, and olive oil. Apply this paste on your blackheads.
7.) Combine vinegar and cornstarch and apply on your nose and other affected areas.
8.) Take the pulp of grapes and apply it on the nose. Let it dry thoroughly and then rinse your face with warm water.
9.) Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Buy some feels & listen to a little love at the #romanceclass FeelsFest on Saturday, October 22, at Glorietta 5
Ghosts, skeletons, and cobwebs might be decorating the windows of shops these days, but why give in to fear when you can celebrate love in October? And why drown your sorrows and stress in beer at Oktoberfest when you can go on a rollercoaster of emotions at #FeelsFest? At least that’s what the folks from the #romanceclass community of authors and readers figure!
Mark your calendars: The #romanceclass #FeelsFest will be on October 22, 2016, at Glorietta 5 in Makati. Authors will be on hand to meet readers and sign books. They’ll be selling indie romance books—many of which you won’t find in your typical bookstore. There will also be games, giveaways, the launching of over 15 new titles published by indie authors just this month, a book donation drive for Ayala Malls’ Little Free Library, and the much-anticipated live readings!
In fact, #romanceclass live readings are show stealers, thanks to the feels delivered by actors invited to read excerpts from romance novels. Previous live readings have been punctuated with shrieks and sighs. #FeelsFest will mark the fifth official live reading event, the last one held just last month at the Manila International Book Fair. #FeelsFest will feature new live readings from #romanceclass books. (Visit http://romancepodcast.com/ to get the audio versions.)
The #FeelsFest live readings will feature performances by Gio Gahol, Rachel Coates, Hervin Alvarez, and Gabriela Pangilinan. Expect to hear scenes from books by Mina V. Esguerra, Ines Bautista-Yao, and more.
“The #romanceclass community is all about encouraging each other to read, write, and publish books we love,” says author Mina V. Esguerra, whose books include Tempting Victoria, What You Wanted, and Iris After the Incident, all of which and more will be available for sale at the event. “#FeelsFest is our chance to give back to the community of readers and friends who’ve supported us. We get to have a little fun, and maybe meet some new people who love a good love story as much as we do.”
So if you like to hug your hugot close and are addicted to happy endings, drop by Glorietta 5 on October 22. Selling will begin when the mall opens, and the official program is scheduled for 2PM to 6PM.
For more information about #romanceclass, visit http://romanceclassbooks.com, where you’ll see a catalogue of the authors’ books along with other information about the community. #FeelsFest is brought to you by Ayala Malls.
