Tips for a Younger Looking Skin

I know for a fact that some women dread reaching the age of 30. I myself am in my thirties and there are times when I look at myself in the mirror and check for even the minutest signs of aging. Fortunately, looking young is in my genes. All my sisters are in their early forties but seem to look like they're in their thirties. I look like I'm in my twenties. Lucky me! But not all of us are as lucky. Don't despair because there are ways to turn back the hands of time or at least delay the signs of aging. Here are some valuable tips:
  1. Get lots and lots of sleep because lack of it will make your skin look dull. Eventually, wrinkles will appear and skin will sag.
  2. Watch what you eat. Instead of eating pork and beef, eat vegetables, fishes, fruits, and chicken. Avoid eating sweets. Too much sugar is not good for the body.
  3. Find time to exercise so as to stay fit, trim and healthy.
  4. Drink at least eight glasses of water everyday for proper hydration.
  5. Don't smoke because this causes wrinkles and can really age your skin fast.
  6. Always wear sunscreen to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
  7. Take vitamins and supplements especially those with Omega 3 oils.
  8. Always put on moisturizer before going to bed or even before applying makeup.
  9. Apply eye cream gently.
  10. Don't lead a too stressful life. Too much stress makes you old. Try to relax more and do the things that makes you happy.

Back from the Dead

I'm officially back from a very long hiatus (back from the dead I must say, hehehe!). I just didn't feel like writing and sharing anything to anyone. I wanted to be alone with my thoughts. I guess that's what a painful and difficult breakup does to you. Well so much for the drama. I'm sooo over that chapter in my life and I feel great. I know that whatever trials come my way, I'll be able to handle them with flying colors. I've kept away too long that there were times I forgot that I had a blog. I kept reminding myself to write something, anything just so I could get the feel of writing in a blog again (I'm so rusty it took me a while to write this, hehehe!). I even forgot the password to my blog and had to check my notes to see if I didn't make a mistake. Imagine that! Anyway, from here on I will try my best to post something, if not everyday at least thrice a week. Goodluck to me.

Get Paid to Post Sites

If you're the type who likes to chat, post discussions on forums and have an opinion on almost anything under the sun, signing up with get paid to post sites is definitely for you. Not only will you be able to do the things you like but you actually get paid for doing it. Here are three recommended sites:
1.) Mylot
Compared to other get paid to post sites, Mylot is kinda conservative in terms of payment. You only get paid 2 cents for every post that contains four to five lines and a cent for two to three liners. You also have to post relevant discussions. In Mylot quality is more important than quantity. Though it takes a long time to reach minimum payout which is $10, I still like this site because of the wide array of topics that can be discussed. From money matters to relationship problems to your favorite flavor of ice cream. Really anything. Plus, you get to meet alot of interesting people from all over the world. They pay via Paypal and Moneybookers.
2.) Web Trade Hut
I just signed up three days ago from this site and I'm already close to $3, spending like only an hour and a half per day. Another week and I'll probably reach the minimum payout of $10 already. An amazingly short time. Here in WTH, as most people call it, you get paid 4 cents for every thread you make and 3 cents for every posting. You're only allowed up to five threads in one day but unlimited posting. If you're after the money, you'll surely love this get paid to post site. They also use Paypal as their payment processor.
3.) Platinum Lounge
I love the look and feel of this site because it's young, fresh, and cool. Topics of discussions range from celebrity news, fashion, movies, music, sports etc. But they have the points system so I think it's quite hard to reach payout. Unless you have referrals, which earn you alot of points. Posting a thread gives you 50 points and replying in posts gives you 25 points. It doesn't matter how many lines you write, even one liners will earn you points. I'm a newbie here so I'm not so sure about the minimum payout. What I know is 10,000 points is equal to $1. They also pay via Paypal.

First Slicethepie Payment

I was so happy this morning upon seeing an email from the site Slicethepie, a GPT (Get-Paid-To) Site. I have reached minimum payout from this site three days ago. Though it's just a little over 5 pounds, it's still great. At least I know that they're a legitimate site. And I got paid for all my effort. I actually signed up with this site just about a month ago and I've reached payout already. To think that I'm so busy with other things. In case it's unfamiliar to you guys, it's a site where you get paid to write reviews of music tracks. You enter a Scout Room and review the music after listening to it for 60 seconds. You're paid 0.03 pounds per track. That is, if you're a one star 'Scout' (that's the term they use for reviewers). But the pay per track increases as your Scout rating increases (though it's still vague to me how my Scout rating will increase). I also love it because they pay via Paypal and they pay really fast. You just have to be patient listening to some of the tracks since they're quite awful. Plus, you have to choose your words carefully since repetition of words is not allowed. But still, it's one highly recommended site.

Sense and Scents-ibilities

I like wearing perfume. It makes me feel more feminine, clean, and fresh. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. Below are some facts about perfume that perfume lovers like me ought to know.
1.) Consider the climate or weather in choosing a perfume. Scent will evaporate sooner in warm weather and cold weather strengthens them.
2.) Never apply perfume behind the ears because the sebaceous glands in the area can affect the way the perfume smells.
3.) Don't try more than two scents at a time.
4.) Store your perfume, colognes, and eau de toilette in the refrigerator to lengthen their shelf life. Keep in mind that perfume can last up to three years from the date it was bottled.
5.) Know your skin type because scents stick longer on oily skin and evaporate faster on dry skin.

PTC Nightmare

For the nth time this morning I checked my Alertpay account. You see, I've been waiting for my payments in the various PTC (Paid to Click) Programs I've signed up with. But sadly not a single cent was added to the $3 I received from Neobux. I have reached the minimum payout of $10 for the site Foxcash, $12 for Bux.to, $10 for Xclix, and another $10 for Earn3. All in the last week of July and I immediately requested for payment. I hope that I'll be paid this September but with all the DDOS attacks on several PTC sites and difficulty accessing most of these sites, I'm not even sure anymore if I would get paid. I hate to think that I spent countless hours clicking ads for nothing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm actually waiting until the end of September and if I don't get paid, I guess I'll just have to quit all these PTC sites altogether.

Great Hair Day

The hair is our crowning glory. That's what most people say. I think so too. A bad haircut could make you look unattractive while a great one would make you look like a movie star. That's why it's so important to go to a salon that you truly trust and where you're sure would give you the best service there is. A couple of days ago I decided to get my long hair shortened to a more hip and modern style, none other than the bob. I went to the SM Mall of Asia because you can find almost all the top salons under one roof. I wanted to go to David's Salon but my cousin suggested that we go to the Headway Salon instead. I wanted to try something new and be adventurous for once so I agreed. Headway Salon offers many services such as haircutting, hair coloring, manicure, pedicure, threading, hand and foot spa, waxing, and shaving. We arrived very early so we were the first ones to be serviced, which made me really happy because I didn't like to wait. The hair stylist immediately cut my hair and I was a bit surprised because she didn't shampoo it. It turns out that you have a choice whether you want your hair to be shampooed or not. Haircut with shampoo costs P200 while without shampoo is just P150. This is actually great when you're in a hurry. I love my hair. The hairstylist was able to get the hairstyle I like and she worked really fast. The crew were all nice and very accomodating. I felt at home. But the thing I liked most in Headway Salon is it's interiors. The salon is split in half, with one side for men and the other side for women. It caters to all genders so both you and your partner can have a haircut. Even kids can have their haircuts. They are reasonably priced so everyone can afford their services. They even have a total hair treatment (hot oil with scalp therapy) which costs only P500. Go and visit Headway Salon to see for yourself. It's located at the 2nd Floor of the South Parking Area.
