Beauty Products I Can't Live Without

I admit that I'm quite vain. I guess most women are. But it's not the "creepy" kind of being vain (e.g. staring all the time in the mirror; being in love with yourself). Mine just comes with having the desire to feel more confident because I know that I look good and attractive. Let's face it physical attributes count a lot specially in our society. Being smart is great but being smart and pretty is so much better. I also have to take care of my skin more now, specially that I'm already in my 30's and lines are starting to appear.

I have a beauty regimen which I try to religiously follow and some beauty products that I just have to use. I've always been a big fan of Pond's and currently using their Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam with Activated Carbon which is great at exfoliating dead skin cells while retaining moisture. After that I use the Pond's Flawless White Re-Brightening Night Treatment with VAO-B3 Complex. This not only makes my skin extra nourished but also repairs daily damage and visibly lightens. And all these happen while you sleep (how cool is that!). As for makeup, I don't apply too much because I tend to look more "mature" and "gayish". I only put on Avon white face powder and simply can't leave home without wearing my Careline Glamour Lips with Aloe and Vitamin E (Lovely Red color). I'm quite fair and have pale skin so I always use red lipstick to make my face come alive. I just love this lipstick because the shade suits me and it's easy to apply. Plus, I bought it at such an affordable price (P100+) which just proves that you don't need to buy expensive makeup to look beautiful.

Yellow Yum Birthday Giveaway Contest

In line with Yellow Yum's Birthday Contest, she asked us to post an answer to the question "How do you make your birthday or Christmas special?" With a little bit of soul searching I came up with this answer:

Ever since I was a kid, Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. I used to look forward to all the gifts given by my loved ones and Santa. But over the years it has somehow lost its sparkle and excitement. Nevertheless, it's still special because I get to spend it with my loved ones and I'm able to give out loot bags to kids in our village. Most of all it's the only time when I get to buy something extravagant and reward myself for working so hard all year round (for the rest of the year, I only buy the things I feel are necessary). I actually save money the whole year to buy that one special gift. In that way, I always look forward to Christmas and each time it's always memorable. I know it sounds materialistic but it's kinda the only time I get to be one (so guys please give me a break! hahaha!).

You too can have a chance at the fabulous prizes that Yellow Yum is giving away so visit http://yellowyum.blogspot.com/2010/11/birthday-giveaway-contest.html for more details.

Contest runs until November 30, 2010.

eBay Baby!

Among all the sites that I'm earning money from, ebay is my favorite. Not only because I get to earn the most from it but also because it fulfills my dream of becoming a businesswoman. I've always wanted to have my own boutique but since I'm not rich (huhuhu) that remains a dream. But I realized that you don't need to have a physical store to be able to sell items. At this day and age all you need is a computer and of course, ebay. I started selling in ebay about three years ago and I remember that in those three years I've only had a problem with them once. At that time I was selling ebooks which I thought were acceptable to ebay's rules and regulations. I only knew that it wasn't when I received an email warning me about selling digital stuff. But overall, my experience with them has been superb. For does who don't have an idea what ebay is, it's a website where you can sell and/or shop for items such as clothes, shoes, accessories, health and beauty products, CDs, DVDs, books, kitchen accessories, gadgets and a lot more. These items can either be new or used, as long as it is still usable and in very good condition. The nice thing about ebay is that membership is free. You don't need to spend a single penny to use its resources. If you love to shop, there's a wide variety of items to choose from at reasonably low prices. If you're a seller, there's a wide market because ebay has members all over the world. If you saw an item you like simply bid on that item until the bidding ends or if you want to buy it outright just click the "Buy it Now" option. There are also many paying options such as Paypal. Another good thing about ebay is that you can buy with confidence. You can check the seller's credibility by looking at his/her feedback score so you don't worry about not receiving the items you paid for. As for sellers, ebay has an easy to use interface so that you can sell your items in a jiffy. But be sure to describe your items well and take clear pictures because you do compete with many sellers. So if you want to have extra income, ebay is the best way to have one.

What About Weegy?

I haven't been posting as much as I would love to because I've been busy with so many stuff, mostly work related. I can't even get a haircut anymore or have my nails done (aaarrrggg!) or shop for a shirt (although I'd rather do that online coz it's cheaper). I need lots of moolah so I'm working harder (Christmas is almost here, yipee!). Thus, longer hours in front of my lappy. I've had some deliveries this week as well as finished some freelance work and the many other online earning gigs I have. I visited Pinoy Exchange and searched some more for earning sites and I saw Weegy.

Weegy.com is a community-based expert system that answers questions thrown by users. These users text Weegy.com questions and the experts immediately send back the answer from their computers. You can make money by becoming a Weegy expert, answering the questions sent. It's really simple to become one. Just fill out their online form. Once that's done, go to the "Expert" tab and wait for a question to come in. What I like about Weegy is that you can do other stuff while waiting for a question. Just keep that tab open. You'll know that a question has arrived once you hear a "DING" (sounds like a door bell). You only have 15 seconds to accept the question or else another expert will take it, so up your computer's volume.

Weegy experts are paid U.S. $0.20 (20 cents) for each conversation they accept and reply to except for those questions posted by other experts. It's not much but it sure adds up if you get to answer a lot of questions everyday. Don't worry about answering the questions since you can use Google to find the answers or you can simply answer it straight away if you know the answer. They also have a referral program that pays $0.50 for Weegy Pro and Weegy Research referrals.

You'll get paid via Paypal when your account reaches $20 or more. Payments are made on the 15th of each month.

Start earning now and sign up for a free account at Weegy.
