The Multiple Uses of Phone Cases and Other Accessories

People like to personalize items to help express themselves as a unique individual. So even though you and everyone you know seem to have the same Smartphone, you also have access to a wide variety of accessories that allows you to make it your own. Certain accessories, such as cellphonecases.com phone covers, as well as cases offered at similar websites, can do more than just assist in protecting your phone. Here are some of the accessories you can find for your Smartphone and how they can benefit you, whether it is for an Apple, Samsung, LG, Motorola, HTC, or other phone brand.

Chargers and Cables

Your phone may be able to last for a while without a charger, but it will not be for long. Whether you lost the original that came with your phone or if you desire a backup that can be left in a suitcase or purse, it can be particularly handy to have extras. Travel chargers are also a great help, as they allow you to charge your phone through the port in your vehicle. This can be particularly helpful on a long, boring car trip. Most Smartphone charger cables also double as USB ports, which allow you to upload pictures onto a computer or upload music from your computer to your phone.

But there are other cables that you can purchase for a Smartphone, such as auxiliary cables. Auxiliary cables allow you to hook your phone directly to your vehicle’s stereo system. In this way, you can listen to music on your phone through the car stereo or even a phone call. Micro-HDMI cables allow you to hook your phone to the television or similar devices. You can then view pictures from the phone, or even stream video. Do not confuse micro cables with mini HDMI cables, which are made for other devices such as DSLR cameras and camcorders.

Phone Case Variety

Like the phone charger, phone cases have come a long way. Not only can the phone covers help reduce the risk of your phone breaking when dropped, but some of them can also protect your phone from water or even from being run over. Other cases double as more than just a decorative phone case. Certain cellphonecases.com phone covers and other cases can also function as a wallet, or may have a stand to hold your phone for viewing. And the designs vary greatly, from cases of bright colors or patterns, to those with a mesh covering, to cases that are soft to the touch. Other accessories you may consider for your phone may be stylus pens, headsets, and screen protectors.

Do You Know the Classifications for River Rapids?

Navigating rivers has been done for many, many years, beginning with canoes and other small crafts used to travel the rivers. Today, rafting and kayaking is more of a form of recreation than a means of travel. While it can be an exciting hobby or a fun family adventure, it is not a sport you can just jump into. For one, you should have somewhat of an idea of how river rapids are classified to ensure you do not get into a situation that can be regrettable or even life-threatening.

Establishing Classifications

In 1954, the American Whitewater Association was formed to help create a better regulatory system for the use of whitewater rapids. One of the first tasks the association performed was to create a classification system for rapids to help improve safety. This classification system is known as the International Scale of River Difficulty, which is used not only in the United States, but in several countries around the world.

The association updates the scale from time to time, with a major update having been completed in 1998. With this update, the association compiled the opinions of 100 expert rafters about over 3,000 different rapids. The ratings are based upon features and hazards for certain stretches of water, with the classifications being determined from comparisons to well-known rapids with already agreed upon classifications.

The Classifications

There are six basic classifications for how river rapids are classified, with a plus and minus system to determine how advanced within that class the rapids may be. Keep in mind, however, that these classifications are a guide, and can vary with water flow and new hazards. Class I entails slower-moving water that is flat with a few, small waves and very few obstructions. Class II waves are considered more for a novice rafter, with small waves and easy-to-maneuver obstructions. Class III is more of an intermediate classification, generally with a swift current and higher, irregular waves. The passages become narrower, and the obstacles require more maneuvering. At class IV, you get into the more advanced rapids, with faster-moving water; large, long waves; and narrow passages with more advanced maneuvering. Class IV also has a chance of holes, which are points within the current where the water may reverse flow due to obstructions, which may cause the raft to become stuck or even sink. Class V takes on a different rating system, with some rapids being classified as 5.1, 5.2, and so on , and is generally only for experts. The rapids are swift and continuous, with large, irregular waves, holes, and drops. While class V is considered complex, the final class, class VI, can be described as extreme. This classification is often given to rapids that have been rafted very little, as it can be extremely dangerous, even for experts.

The Evolution of the Limousine

Although they have become a much more common occurrence for different special events of ordinary people, you may not be able to help wondering if there is someone of great importance hidden within the limo in Chicago that just passed you by. But why do limousines bring to mind images of the rich and famous? Where exactly did these luxury vehicles come from?

Early Beginnings

For centuries, people have been escorting their royals and figures of importance, whether carrying them within a litter upon the back of servants or within a horse-drawn carriage. The first conveyances that were determined as limousines, however, were created in France in the 1700s. The carriages were often ordained in gold and pulled by the best horses, and had the passengers within an enclosed space while the driver was on the outside.

The name itself may have been derived from a heavy cloak worn by shepherds in the Limousin region of France. It is thought that either the name was given to the coaches because of their resemblance to the cloaks, or because the drivers wore similar cloaks. The name also may have simply been derived from the town of the limo’s birth, Limoges.

Limos and the Automobile

In 1902, an automobile version of the limousine was introduced. This vehicle, like the carriage, featured an interior space separate from the outside driver space. In 1916, the limousine was given a definition by the Society of Automobile Engineers as “a closed car seating three to five inside, with driver’s seat outside.”

The stretch limousines you may be more familiar with today came about in 1928 in Arkansas. Originally, these vehicles were designed to carry band and orchestra members and their equipment. As a result, they were often referred to as “big band buses.” Airports and hotels also found the vehicles useful for shuttling customers, as did tour companies, affording them yet another nickname of “aiporter stretch coach.”

The Rich, Famous, and Beyond

As the limousine began gaining popularity in the 1930s, production companies decided to begin using them as well. At first they were used to take the film crew and other personnel around the sets, but over time they began to be a popular conveyance for actors and other celebrities. Many presidents have also made use of the limos.

Today, however, a limo in Chicago may carry anyone with the desire to rent one, whether for a wedding, prom, or a special night on the town. While the classic Cadillac and Lincoln stretch limousines still usually come to mind first, you can also find stretched SUVs and even trucks. One thing all of these vehicles still have in common, however, is a classy, luxurious interior passenger space, still separated from the driver’s space.

Making a Personal Connection Takes More Than Email

Even though mail may be at an all-time low, the fact of the matter is that people like to get mail as long as it isn’t a bill, and sometimes, even a bill can be a welcomed sight in a mailbox that would otherwise be covered in cobwebs and road dust. Somehow, people have come to believe that social media is social and can take the place of all other kinds of communication, but that is just not the case. Companies like Star Direct Marketing understand that there is power in a snail mail delivery, and they know how to capture that power.

Communication

Eighty percent of all communication is nonverbal. The Internet cannot recreate that with written forms of communication. While facial expressions, body language and even the pressure that is used while writing can convey something of a person’s true feelings and meanings, the best that social media has to off are “lols” and emoticons, which only tell you what the person wants you to believe about the communication they are sending and not what they are really feeling.

Services

With services like “Every Door Direct Mail,” businesses have a powerful tool that they can use to create relationships with people that they would otherwise miss. Not everyone has email, but everyone who can participate in the economy has an address and a mail box. There is no reason why people should be left out if they can’t afford a computer or Internet services.

Back to Basics

It may not be possible for you to handwrite notes to everyone that you would like to contact when it comes to your business, but you can create anticipation and surprise with the right mailer campaign. Companies like Star Direct Marketing can provide you with direction and help when it comes to crafting the perfect message that gets results. In a new economy, sometimes, the old ways are still the best ways. Anytime that you can make a more personal connection with people, you will create a better bottom line. That means learning to mass market everything on an individual level.

Horse Training Education for Horse Lovers

When you attend a local community college, there are many advantages. One advantage is the fact that you can live at your parent’s home while you are attending college (if they will let you, of course). Another advantage is the fact that many community colleges have a small campus, relatively small class sizes, and high-quality professors. You can attend this school and not feel like just a number. As a bonus, some schools have specialty programs that cater to the interests of the area. For example, did you know that you can learn horse training in Colorado at a community college? It is true. Read on to learn more about what you can expect from a college-based equine training program.

Hands-On Learning

While you can study equine training anywhere from college to your own city library, you can only learn so much from reading about it. You have to have hands-on learning. You can learn about types of saddles all you want, but it isn’t until you actually try to put one a horse that you really start to round out your learning. So, whether you are learning to groom, riding for the first time, or learning to gallop, you will get the real world experience you need with hands-on learning.

Equine Science

Equine science is one focus for your education. In this focus you will learn about the important areas of equine nutrition and physiology. You will focus on equestrian styles, selection, and management of the horse enterprise, though not as much as you would in the equine business management program. You can also learn about the roles that horses play in society including recreation, therapy, and performance. A strong science background is preferred for this area of focus.

Business Management

Another focus of horse training in Colorado is equine business management. With the equine industry growing there is a demand for those people who are well versed in the aspects of equine management. You will learn about communication, counseling, environmental studies, equine massage, hoof trimming, and more. You will be an asset in the growing world of recreation, racing, breeding, and farming.

Four Tips for Local Internet Marketing

The past 20 years have completely changed the marketing world. Because more and more individuals are finding their information about a company from the Internet, it is essential to direct some of your marketing efforts to online strategies. Moreover, just like other local advertising campaigns, you can direct your online marketing efforts to your local market. Following are four local Internet marketing tips from OrangeSoda:

  • Set up social media accounts.
  • Use Google+ and Google Places.
  • Start a blog related to your company’s services.
  • Geo-target your ads.

Use Social Media

More and more people are becoming connected to social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest. You can use social media by setting up your own page full of information, ideas, and promotions. In addition, you can purchase ads on these sites that will target your audience.

Use Google+

Another form of social media is Google+. The nice thing about Google+ is that it is completely free. You do not have to pay for any referrals or leads that you get from Google+. In addition, Google is the most common search engine today, and you want your website to appear high on their search results page. Google gives priority to companies that have a Google+ profile, which means your website will get an automatic boost if you have a profile with Google+. Also, you can appear on their Google maps if you update your Google Places listing.

Start a Blog

Another suggestion is to start a blog about services or ideas related to your company. For example, if you are a caterer, you could do a blog containing tips for entertaining or ideas for wedding decorations. Keep in mind that your posts need to be useful and informative not just promotional. Then, when people read your blog, they will be more likely to visit your website.

Geo-Target Your Ads

Finally, one of the important local Internet marketing tips from OrangeSoda is to geo-target your ads. Add your city’s name to any keywords. For example, if you are a plumber in Omaha, your keywords might be Omaha plumbing company. Keywords that contain a geographic area are more likely to reach local people who will use your services than keywords without a geographic area.

Songs for the Philippines

Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda has devastated thousands of people in Eastern Visayas and has affected not just Filipinos all over the country and the world but people from all countries because of the message that it brought. It is indeed time for us to be more serious about the issue of climate change and take immediate and necessary steps to halt its progress. Not doing so will definitely give our children a scary and doubtful future.

Haiyan likewise affected all of us emotionally. After the typhoon broke I immediately watched the news and saw images I've never seen before. I couldn't help but cry over the devastation and loss of lives and how days after the typhoon most people have not received the help that they desperately needed.  I was kinda guilty eating delicious food because I knew that so many didn't even have a drop of water to drink. I was glad though that so many people have donated money, goods, time etc. and really amazed at the support that the international community gave and is still giving. I realized that at times like this, we are never alone and that countries all over the world will always be willing to help us. I'm forever grateful to them for that.

There are so many ways to help the victims and I'm sure that most if not all of us have done our part. After learning that iTunes is selling an album, the proceeds of which will benefit the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, I immediately bought a copy. It's a compilation of 39 songs from various artists like The Beatles, U2, Beyonce, Pink, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Adele, Katy Perry and so many others. The album is great and it's for a good cause so there's really no reason not to buy. A must-have for only $9.99.

My favorite songs in the album are Count on Me (Bruno Mars), Carry You Home (James Blunt), Love Don't Die (The Fray), Let It Be (The Beatles), In a Little While (U2), Stronger (Kelly Clarkson), I Was Here (Beyonce), and Make You Feel My Love (Adele).

Four Little Tips for Better Business Travel

Someone once described business travel as a long commute that takes you to an office where you see a different set of cubicles and walls. While this is true to an extent, there are many things that you can do to make your business travel more enjoyable, such as using a company like Premier Limousine Inc. to transport you to and from the airport. In November 2013, Businessweek.com published the results of a survey that contained business travel tips. Following are a few of the tips that were contained in the survey.

Leave a Suitcase Behind

If you frequently travel to the same hotel, you might want to leave a packed suitcase with them. The suitcase would contain items like a change of business attire, overnight clothing, a toiletries bag, workout clothes, etc. If the hotel is willing to keep it for you, this eliminates the necessity of taking a cumbersome carry-on bag. If you can’t leave a packed bag at places you frequently visit, leave a packed bag at home. Then you don’t have to bother with packing it each time you get ready to leave.

Bring Clothespins

Curtains in hotel rooms don’t always shut tightly. When they don’t they can allow light into the room that can disturb your sleep. Try taking a few small clothes pins with you. Then you can clip the curtains together and keep the light out.

Pack Everything at the Same Time

Packing a few of your items early and a few immediately before you leave might cause you to forget some important things. Some executives have found it beneficial to dedicate a drawer or area specifically for travel items. In this drawer, store things like toiletries, a travel alarm, a change of clothes, extra cords, etc. Then when it is time to pack, pack everything all at once. This will help ensure you don’t forget anything.

Use a Checklist App

There are many checklist apps designed for smart phones. Dedicate one list to your travel needs. Make a list of items to pack as well as to do items such as remembering to call for a ride from a company like Premier Limousine Inc. Keeping the list and referring back to it every time you travel will help make the job of packing become routine.

Why Do We Need to Visit the Dentist?

Keeping our teeth and gums in healthy condition can prevent tooth decay, heart disease, and a handful of other conditions. While we can all do a great job maintaining adequate oral health through healthier eating and daily oral health habits, there are always things to improve upon. A family history of weak tooth enamel can increase the risk of tooth decay. Even people that have gone years without a cavity could suddenly experience a painful cavity out of the blue. Visiting the Orem dentist is one of the best things you can do for your oral health to prevent serious pain and problems from occurring.

What a Dentist Does

A dentist will receive proper training from a dental school. Their education and training allows them to understand how to detect and repair problems with tooth decay and other dental procedures. It is essential to your oral health to seek out the help of a dentist for dental treatment, but also for the prevention of tooth decay. A large number of people have found that failure to visit the dentist can easily lead to serious problems such as gum disease, tooth loss, and bone loss.

Teeth Cleaning and Examinations

When you visit the dentist for the first time, they will take x-rays of the teeth to look for structural problems. The x-rays also help them to detect any tooth decay deep within a tooth. If the dentist does locate decay, they will bring you back for additional treatments that involve removing the decay and treating the area with a filling to replace the missing section of tooth. Failure to remove decay will cause it to grow until it destroys a tooth, and it can even infect the jawbone structure.

During the initial visit, the dentist will have a hygienist or assistant clean your teeth and gums. The dentist will then measure and check for signs of gum recession and gum disease. Gum disease is common among many patients that do not floss, or have poor eating and oral health habits. Many dentists find that early stages of gum disease can be reversed quickly. Advanced gum disease will require additional treatments, which are not always easy for a patient to undergo, as they can be painful. Schedule an appointment with your Orem dentist today to prevent such serious oral health issues from happening.

Loving J. Co Donuts

My sister brought home two boxes of J. Co Donuts & Coffee over the weekend. This is the first time I've tried these famous donuts and now I can see what the fuss is all about. I often wondered why people patiently lined up to buy them at the mall and now that I've tasted it, I'm definitely gonna do the same. My sister bought the two boxes for just P500+ because it was the soft opening of their branch along UN.

I liked all the flavors especially the Alcapone, Crunchy Crunchy, and Why Nut. I hope they'll have a delivery service soon since I don't like long queues. They have branches at SM MOA, Megamall, Greenbelt 3, Trinoma, Alabang Town Center, SM City Fairview, Eastwood, Glorietta 2, and Araneta Center.

How a Dentist Maintains and Enhances Your Smile

Dental procedures and services are very important both for the appearance of your teeth and smile, but also for the comfort of your mouth. If dental care is neglected, you may find yourself suffering from pain and discomfort in your teeth and gums when you try to eat, drink, and talk. In order to improve the comfort and confidence you have in your teeth, you can go to a dental office and take advantage of the services and procedures a dentist has to offer you. Here are the different procedures and services that many dentists offer their clients that can help you maintain and enhance your teeth.

Maintenance Procedures

Maintaining your teeth and gums is very important in preventing discomfort and painful problems in your mouth. Maintenance procedures include regular dental cleanings and examinations. Dentists recommend that you have cleanings and exams done at least once every year. Dental cleanings are important because it can be very difficult, if not impossible, to remove all of the plaque and build up on your teeth simply by brushing and flossing at home. Dental tools and professional knowledge make dental cleanings much more effective at completely cleaning your teeth. Additionally, exams are essential in identifying the beginnings of dental disease or decay so that these problems can be repaired early on before they have had a chance to escalate into more serious, extensive, and painful problems. These exams can save you from very expensive dental repair procedures necessary to maintaining your dental health and comfort.

Cosmetic Procedures

Additionally, dentists help you enhance the appearance of your teeth and your smile with cosmetic procedures. Teeth straightening and teeth whitening are two common cosmetic dental procedures that many people elect to have. If you have crooked teeth, you may be considering teeth straightening. Dentists can help you determine the severity of your crooked teeth and decide if you need to have traditional braces or clear braces to correct the problem. Additionally, teeth yellowing can negatively affect the appearance of teeth, so if you are interested in reversing the yellowing of teeth, you can go to the dentist who can perform teeth whitening procedures for you.

Customer Service Still Alive in Pharmaceuticals

In today’s ruthless world, it can often feel like customer service has died. Doing business can seem heartless and make you feel like you are no longer a person, but a number or just part of a boring routine for companies. However, there are some companies that still honor their customers and treat them as they would like to be treated. One such company can be found at www.cngpharmacy.com.

Feeling Rushed

Have you ever tried to speak with a pharmacist and felt rushed or flustered? Those who work in medicine are often extremely busy and sometimes patients can feel as if their problems or cares do not matter much to others. While waiting in line to discuss prescription medicines, information can feel overwhelming. Some people are intimidated by the fast pace and the long lines of people that are waiting for their turn.

Feeling rushed is not pleasant. It makes a person not ask important questions or forget what information they need to collect about their prescriptions. The worst part is that even though the patients or recipients feel rushed when discussing their concerns, they still have to wait incredibly long amounts of time for their prescription to be filled. The entire process can be extremely frustrating.

Customer Service

How can a company improve their customer service skills in a fast-paced world? They can slow down, be friendly, and help people feel welcome. Once they have discussed any concerns with patients regarding a medication, they also need to be able to fill them quickly. This would enable them to be available to their customers while also not wasting other customer’s time.

Availability of prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines is also a great way for companies to improve their customer service skills. Nothing is more frustrating than going across town to find some necessary medication, only to have to turn around and find another store in which to shop at.

The companies like the one found at www.cngpharmacy.com still believe in being friendly and courteous to their customers. They carry a sufficient inventory and staff in order to meet the needs of everyone.

Top Online Boutiques

Since I love shopping so much I always browse the net looking for both new and established online stores to shop in. Although I have a couple of favorite stores where I regularly shop, it's nice to try out other chic stores once in a while. I like those that has a wide selection of items to choose from and already has everything in it like apparel, shoes, accessories, jewelry etc. A one-stop shop will definitely save me a lot of money since I won't have to spend so much on shipping. Sometimes it's even free when you reach a certain amount. I'm a practical shopper so I always check the prices first before I buy something. If it's way too expensive, then I don't buy it. I still stick to my budget when it comes to online shopping.

Anyhow, here are some online stores I'm dying to shop in:

1.) Soleil Flats

Dentistry Facts: How Braces Work

It seems to be an American rite of passage, and perhaps you are or were one of the millions of kids or teenagers sporting a mouth full of metal and rubber bands. You may also be one of an increasing number of adults getting braces. Americans love the look of straight, even teeth, and will do just about anything to get it, even if it means spending months or years with braces. Traditional braces are made of metal brackets and wires, but newer technology has produced braces made of a thermoplastic substance that is nearly invisible. Below, you will learn the differences between metal and invisible braces. Offices such as Drake Dentistry usually offer both options, so knowing the facts will help you make better decisions.

Metal Braces

Braces are designed to gently move your teeth into an ideal alignment. Metal braces, which have been used for decades, do the job handily. Your dentist will attach a bracket to each tooth, positioning them so that they will be perfectly aligned once your teeth are straight. Each of the brackets is connected by a wire, called an “arch wire.” The arch in the wire supports a perfect tooth alignment, but as your teeth are not yet perfectly aligned, your dentist will bend and shape the wire to fit between the brackets. The desire of the arch wire to return to its original arch will gently pull your teeth into alignment, and the bone in your jaw will accommodate such movement. At scheduled visits, your dentist will replace the arch wires with new wires. Rubber bands are also used in the process. Slowly, your teeth will be repositioned into the desired alignment. Once the bone has reformed and grown solidly around the teeth in the ideal alignment, your braces can come off.

The advantage of metal braces is that once they’re on, they’re on, and you will only visit the dentist for periodic tightening. You won’t lose them, and as long as you brush regularly and well, they won’t bother you too much or be detrimental to your teeth. Another advantage is the lower cost compared to invisible braces.

Invisible Braces

The newest innovation in tooth-straightening technology is invisible braces. Your dentist will create a plan for the straightening of your teeth using computer software that generates an image of your mouth. The first braces are then custom-created for you. These braces slip over your teeth much like a tray, the hard plastic slowly forcing your teeth to move to new positions. Every few weeks, you will return to your dentist to receive the next set of braces, much like those with metal braces return for tightening.

The biggest advantage to invisible braces is that they are invisible, which makes them far more attractive to adults who don’t wish to sport the youthful metal-mouth look, though teens and children can also use them. You can take them off to eat or brush and floss your teeth, though the danger is in losing them, of course. They cost more than metal braces, but the end results are the same. Now that you know more about metal and invisible braces, you can visit an experienced and reputable office such as Drake Dentistry and discuss your options further.

Damit atbp.

Although I don't really need a new blouse right now, I couldn't resist buying a cute Mango-inspired top with tie I saw at Damit atbp., one of the many online shops operating in Facebook. It has this Bohemian vibe to it that I just love. I bought it for P650 (shipping fee included). Damit atbp. is a gem of a store because they sell so many cute tops and dresses. I'm not kidding when I tell you that I like ALL their pieces. Check them out and see for yourselves. If ever you see something you like, you have to comment "Mine" right away because stocks sell out fast and everything is on a first come, first serve basis.

Ordering is very easy. Simply comment "Mine" on the picture of your desired item and text your details to 0917-7004322 (name, address, ordered items, when and where to settle payment). Then wait for a text confirmation within 24 hours. Shoppers can pay via BPI deposit, LBC, Cebuana Lhuillier, and Western Union. Items are shipped thru JRS Express, LBC, and 2GO.

Manila Bankers Alleged Rewards Gift Certificate

Have you been scammed by unscrupulous people via text, email, or through your landline phone? I have been victimized once that's why I'm extra careful when it comes to people calling me and saying that I've won something even if I didn't actually join a contest. Yesterday I received a text message from Manila Bankers with this exact message:

Good day!

This is from MANILA BANKERS. We would like to inform that have been qualified to receive a FREE GIFT CERTIFICATE worth P10,280 and REWARDS plus a RAFFLE entry for a chance to win P50,000 cash. Please claim at 5/F Unit 501, VGP CENTER 6772 Ayala Ave. (beside BPI Head Office cor. Paseo de Roxas, Makati City).

Ref. # JVS 112587

For inquiries, you may call at:

(02)804-2840
(02)804-2365

Look for
Ms. Jane V. Lopez

Thank you & God Bless!

-------------------------

I received a phone call after about 10 minutes of receiving the text. The woman on the other line asked me what time I'll be visiting their office. Since I wanted to research more, I didn't confirm anything. I decided to just ignore the text since this might be a scam and I'd probably end up being "forced" to buy something that costs more than the gift certificate I allegedly won (Manila Bankers is an insurance company).

I posted this to warn other people. If you do receive a similar text, be careful on how you'll handle it. Earning money is so hard nowadays and to lose it to some scammers just like that would really suck.

Social Link Mart Payout

Thank you Social Link Mart for this! This amount is not that big but with how little effort and time I spend each month in this website simply sharing interesting stories with my Facebook and Twitter followers, it's really more than enough (I got $20 last month).

The Flower Collection Online Store

It's time to reward myself again for working hard last month and for not thinking of ever slowing down in the coming months. I've known of The Flower Collection online store for quite some time already but haven't gotten around to buying anything. They have tops for both casual and office wear as well as bottoms (pants and skirts), and dresses. There are a couple of items in their New Arrivals section that I'm quite interested in.

Items are delivered locally through Air21 while the Philippine Post Office is responsible for international shipments. Shipping rate depends on the quantity of items bought. They provide free shipping when you buy P1,000 and above. Orders will be delivered within 2 to 3 working days from the time that payment is received. They have a lot of payment options such as credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB), Paypal, bank deposit, Globe GCash, debit/ATM card (Megalink), and remittance centers (Western Union, LBC, Cebuana Lhuillier, and SM).

The Flower Collection has boutiques in The Podium, Festival Supermall, SM City Fairview, and SM City Cebu and outlets in many different malls in the metro if you want to see their items personally.

Fresh Breath With Swish

Since we were kids we have been indoctrinated to brush our teeth 3 times a day but not many of us have been taught about the importance of using mouth wash after brushing. This is an essential part of our oral hygiene that we should always practice. It strengthens our enamel, protects against cavities, removes plaque and tartar, and cleans areas around our mouth, jaws, and tongue that our toothbrush cannot reach. Furthermore, mouth wash kills bacteria and germs that causes bad breath, leaving our mouth smelling fresh.

Using mouthwash has always been a habit of mine and my favorite brand happens to be Swish. That is why when the opportunity for a product review came along, I immediately grabbed it. Compared to other brands, Swish is cheaper so people, especially those who are on a budget, will be able to save more. I like the fact that it is alcohol-free so I do not get that painful burning sensation when I gargle and therefore am able to gargle longer. It also leaves me with long-lasting minty fresh breath everyday and all I need is 20 ml. of Swish twice a day to achieve that. They have different flavors such as Mangosteen Mint and Cinnamon Blast. I am currently using the Mangosteen Mint and I super love how it tastes on my mouth.

Swish also has the Breath Spray which freshens the breath in just 10 seconds. It is alcohol and sugar free as well, and all it takes is 1 to 2 pumps into the mouth to freshen breath right away. They come in two variants, the Arctic Chill and Peppermint Fresh. I actually like both variants and would use either one of them. I like that it is handy and can be placed even in my pocket so when the need for a quick breath fix arises, I can easily grab it and spray it on my mouth.

eFoxCity: The Fun Way to Shop

Shopping is fun and is a nice way to relieve stress. So whenever I feel like everything's closing down on me and I want to feel happy again, I just shop. I happen to like a lot of online stores but eFoxCity.net is one that I regularly visit. It's a leading supplier of wholesale clothes for a lot of wholesalers and boutiques worldwide and is based in China. Among the items they sell are dresses, special occasion dresses, shirts, blouses, jackets, wedding dresses, jewelry, and accessories. Not only do they cater to women, they also sell wholesale men's clothes.

eFoxCity delivers to most countries around the world via Registered Air Mail (Standard Shipping), DHL, EMS, UPS, FedEx and TNT. They have many payment options such as Paypal, wire transfer, and Western Union. On top of the many items they have, they have an Affiliate Program where you can earn a 12% commission on all referred sales. They also have a Fashion Blogger Program wherein bloggers may get free clothing worth $20 to $200 every month if their blogs qualify in exchange for reviewing the products they get. Not only can you shop for fabulous apparel at eFoxCity, you also get the opportunity to earn extra money.

Coffee, Tea or Cocoa?

Nothing beats a hot beverage on a crisp fall or chilly winter day but hot drinks can be a hassle to make, especially when your hands are cold. With a K-Cup® compatible on demand brewing system you can craft all sorts of hot beverages with the press of a button - you may not even have to take off your mittens. On demand or single serve brewing systems make one cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate or other hot beverage at a time and they brew directly into a cup, mug, glass or travel mug. This is handy because there is no coffee pot to clean and no thermal carafe with a lid that's impossible to open and pour from even when your hands are warm.

K-Cup® Single Serve Coffee packs from http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/, $9.99

No coffee pot means no warming plate and no warming plate means no worries about whether or not you remembered to unplug the coffee maker. It also means an end to scorched, bitter and stale coffee because you brew only what you need and not a drop more. Since the coffee brews into your cup it is fresh, hot, flavorful and ready to drink and enjoy indoors or out. On demand coffee makers generally can hold enough water to make as many as ten or twelve cups of coffee so you don't need to keep refilling the reservoir all that often.

K-Cup® style

There's no need to scoop or measure coffee or deal with messy coffee grounds or tea bags because the regular and decaffeinated coffees and teas all come in individually sealed single portion pods. There are also pods for specialty drinks like cider, chai latte and cocoa K-Cup® style; K-Cups® are the most popular and readily available coffee pods on the market.

Shopping at Chicify

Since I love online shopping so much I constantly search the net for stores to shop in. I recently read this Spot.ph article entitled Top 10 Online Boutiques (2012 Edition) and I told myself that I have to shop at least once at all ten stores just to see if they indeed are the best among the rest. I checked each of them and I like the items at Chicify and AVA the most. However, shopping at AVA would somehow break the bank since most of the items have designer labels (both international and local). Unlike in Chicify where the price range is from P96-P2,500. You can definitely shop for more items at this store and I'm telling you, they have some of the chicest clothes and accessories I've seen. Plus, mostly are Filipino-made. Shoppers can buy clothes, accessories, bags, swimwear, shoes, kiddie wear, and lifestyle products at Chicify. They also have a lot of payment options such as PayPal, Credit Card, Debit Card, BancNet ATM Card Thru PesoPay, BDO, Metrobank, Smart Money, and Globe GCash.

The other online stores worth checking out are Martina Martina, Clothes for the Goddess, Peace Love Fashion, Proudrace, Style Hub, Soleil Flats, and Vantan Manila.
